ભક્તિની અભિવ્યક્તિ (The Expression of Devotion)

2-day workshop on Pichhwai painting

Date : 9th and 10th April, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday)

Time : 11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Registration fee : Rs 4500/- only (All materials will be provided)

Resource Person : Piyush Sharma (Traditional Artist from Nathdwara)

Venue : Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum

Age group : 18 years and above (a prior experience in art is preferable)

About the Workshop:

• Understanding the narrative of Pichhwai.
• Learn the making of a traditional Pichhwai with an Artist who brings many generations of knowledge.
• Introduction to the natural pigments.
• Live demonstration of Pichhwai drawing.
• One to one interaction with the Artist.

The workshop will be complemented by an exhibition of Pichhwai Paintings and it will be open to public from 8th to 17th April, 2022, 11:00 am - 5:00 am
