Sujata Parsai has taken charge as the new Director of the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, Ahmedabad, from July 2020.
Sujata Parsai is a museum professional, an art historian-turned-educator with a passion for connecting India's cultural and artistic heritage to it's audience.
Her varied and well-rounded experience ranges from documenting museum collections and implementing preventive conservation measures as per international standards, to making Gallery displays interesting to viewers and conceptualizing art exhibitions as event management.

Sunanda has a MA specializing in Indian Painting, from the Department of Art History and Aesthetics, M.S. University of Baroda.
She joined the LD Museum in 2014 as Museum Keeper, and currently is Senior Museum Keeper for the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum.
She worked closely with the research team in compiling and editing Museum Publication Catalogue of more than 500 Indian line drawings from the collection. Presently working as lead on the curatorial team, she is working towards streamlining collections management process, revamping of the gallery displays, and overseeing preventive conservation measures while continuously giving inputs on new website planning.

Priyanka Kundu did her Bachelors in History of Art from Kala-Bhavana, Visva-Bharati, Santiniketan and her MA Art History and Aesthetics with specialization in Indian Architecture from Faculty of Fine Arts, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda.
Priyanka joined as an intern in 2018, for the cataloging of the LD Museum. Presently employed as a Museum Keeper at Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, as part of the curatorial team, she researches on the collections, plans online exhibitions, works on website content. She is keenly active on the museum education and outreach front, and supports all the social media content.

Namrata completed her M. Com from Gujarat University, and has been with the museum in the capacity of Accountant since 2009.
Namrata is not only in charge of all the accounts of the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, but also works quietly like a behind-the-scene HR manager, ensuring wellbeing and comfort of all the staff. Nothing escapes her sharp eye for detail, which is a great asset.
