Different collection, a systematic development of Gujarati painting and Rajasthani Schools. Hope you can display more of the Tagore collection drawings.

Very systematic museum doing excellent work with limited resources, building and architecture is excellent. A good Conservation initiative. A little encouragement can do wonders and bring this museum with rich collection.

We came to know that there is so much to learn, it doesn't restrict to paintings and sculptures, etc. But it tells us the Indian History. The entire gallery is so big that you have to take 15 days to take full essence of it. The visit gives experience & enriches you with your own country and history. A very good attempt to make aware youth of India.
- Ritu Singh Chauhan (22.01.2009)

To all those fortunate enough to spend time in these galleries - take your time indeed. There is so much beauty, so many views and visions of India, of Gujarat- my eyes were opened and our hearts are full. Thank you to Dr. Parimoo, to all the staff. You are presenting history and art for the world.
- Dr. Catherine Benkam, Beverly Hills, CA, USA (30.11.2007)

The Department of Culture, Government of India, decided to hold the 19th All India Museum Camp at Baroda Museum & Picture Gallery in the month of March, 1989. The camp was organized in between 13th and 20th March. During this period we decided to take the participants of this camp to L.D. Museum to speak to them about the display and lighting techniques adopted in this museum. In course of our visit, we found it very useful from the training point of view. I extremely congratulate the organizers of the museum, especially for its maintained upkeep.
- L.A. Narain, Asst. Director, National Museum, New Delhi (March, 1989)

It is very laudable that the neglected subject of scripts has been given in this museum a special attention that this heritage really deserves. I must congratulate and thank the trustees of this museum on behalf of all lovers of script and of epigraphy.
