The Museum on Wheels is an educational outreach initiative of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai, through two state-of-the-art buses that travel extensively in the city, suburbs, and rural areas of Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and Karnataka. The buses host exhibitions on specific subjects, which change periodically.

To bring one of these exhibitions to the people of Ahmedabad, the Museum of Wheels has collaborated with the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum, an iconic institution in the city.

Come experience the iconic collections from two of the most prominent museums in India on 16th April 2023 at L D Institute of Indology Campus, Ahmedabad from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Immersive hands-on activities for all ages will be in store throughout the day!
