Museum Pathshala

LDM’s initiative which began in 2019, has grown considerably, with additions of newer ideas and programmes. The museum develops innovative ways to engage school students, using the museum objects and displays as resources to enhance the classroom curriculum. Students experience an ‘out of school’ learning and enjoyment, offered by the museum facilitators (both curators and interns). Teachers are consulted before introducing new topics in line with the class 4-8 NCERT and Gujarat Board curriculum.

• The Stories of Water – Class 4 and 5
• Hamara Gujarat: a time travel through Art, Architecture and coins – Class 6, 7 and 8
• Envisioning Trade through Artifacts - Class 6, 7 and 8
• Learning from Indian Art – Class 9 and 10
• An introduction to the Medieval Architecture of India – Class 9 and 10
