Most of us admire birds, butterflies, flowers and even ants. But right beneath our eyes live silent architects, acrobats and guardians, the SPIDERS! Yet, most people fear them. This walk is for anyone who wants to replace their fear with fascination. See SPIDERS not with fear — but with WONDER!

~Highlights of the session:

• Identify web types and spider species, and uncover the stories behind each - the engineers, the jumpers, the mimics, the camouflaged hunters and the super-moms!
• Discover how spiders protect our homes, farms and ecosystems - nature’s best pest controllers who keep the planet in balance without chemicals.
• Spider trail across the campus - learn where they hide and how to spot them using cues from silk, shadows and leaf movements.
